I NEED WINNERS NOT CUSTOMERS!

I will speak of Power 90, P90X, Insanity, and Shakeology because that's where my credibility lies. I can't promote something that I don't do and I hate to sell. Follow my journey and then decide if this is for you. Don't be fool! It ain't easy! If you are looking for a magic pill, then don't waste your time here. Go somewhere else! Every day I take my shakeology in the morning and I watch what I eat and I follow P90X, which is the program I'm currently on. I commit myself 110%. I sweat, I puke, and I even fall, but I brought it each and everytime! So, if working hard is not for you, then you can forget it because it will not work for you. I need people who love to take on challenges. Not people that are expert, people that are willing to fail and keep trying. Those are the winners and those are the ones that I guarantee will succeed.

Dialysis Machine costing island a lot of money

As I was reading this, I got really angry how people still don't get what is happening here. We, a poor island nation, is trying to counter the diabetic & gout epidemic that is basically killing everyone on the island. Yet, people come up with excuses or even ridicule my quest to reverse the end of obesity.

You see, I'm from a family that have struggled with diabetic for generations. My great grandfather was one of the earlier people that died of diabetes and later would be my grandmother and my uncle. Now, I am watching my dad deteriorate slowly has he refused to come to grasp that his unhealthy eating habit and lack of exercise is killing him. Every time we had a conversation about his health, he gets angry with me and start giving me the excuse that he is just old and old people are supposed to accept their fate. I am saddened and angry by his ignorant comments and then, it struck me. People are just full of excuses because they are afraid and they are not willing to accept reality. Reality, that Micronesia ranks one of the highest in obesity rate in the world. The problem is that we have been program to believe that medicine is the only sure way to fix this even when evidence has shown otherwise. I mean, most of the patience that takes medication died couple years later because of a complication that the medicine has brought on their body. Now, I am no doctor and will probably have someone refute my claim. Fine! But this I know, I was on the path of destruction like the rest of the folks here until I come to grips with what was happening to me. The day I accepted that I needed to change my lifestyle is the day my life changed for the better. I wanted to lose weight and feel good about myself, but along the way I became healthy. My doctor told me that my blood pressure is normal and that there is no sign that I would follow in my dad's footstep. My journey became more than something that can be perceived as superficial. I am doing this so I can be around to see my kids grow up. I am around to be an example to my kids, my family, and my people. I hope and pray that my path would influence more along the way to become healthy and fit.

Day 79 on P90X

It's been 79 days! The result has been great all around. Tonight I did my Plyo workout and each time my stamina has improved tremendously. Reflecting back on the first day, I just couldn't believe how far I've come! I'm excited to be able to come this far. I have taken my progression pictures, which I will post right now. The next picture would be my final when I finished the first round in 11 days. Here it is! Respond if you see change. :)

Week 5 of P90X

I've been struggling with P90X, unlike the first time I did it. Now, I am more focus than ever. My wife has became my partner and we have at it for the past five weeks, eating right and bring in it. I am just so ecstatic of the changes in my strength and my stamina. I cant wait to finally complete the first 90 days. I am very confident of it this time. It is a battle, no less and yes, you are going to get disappointing and even failed, but do not quit. Sit out and come back with a vengeance. I am also excited that two of my friends are doing the P90X. We are using facebook to encourage each other. I've taken my 30 days picture but I'd like to wait until 60 days so the changes are more evident and then I can start posting pictures every 30 days after. I know this is a 90 day program, but my goal is to take it to a year and then gauge my transformation.I'm done for tonight, just completed Yoga X.

Toward the End of Week 8: Recovery Week

My wife will be posting my pictures. I'm still at it. I've measured myself and am satisfied with the progress, but I have not check out the pictures. Hopefully, it will give me a pleasant surprise.

I have been doing mostly Insanity with the Yoga X in the Recovery. Brutal but effective.

Check out tomorrow when I post the pictures.
